PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
July 2018
Happy Fourth of July!
On Independance day, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for my life and for this country. I am an immigrant. I came here in my twenties with $50 in my pocket, a guitar, and a heart full of one dream: to be a folk singer who would impact the world with my music. 
If that dream didn’t quite manifest at the level I desired back then, by becoming a coach my dream of making the world a better place did come true. America held me in her arms and gave me opportunities after opportunities. No matter how fragile it seems today, I am holding steadfast in my belief in the resiliency of this beautiful country and its people.
It starts with us... We the People.
Together, we are building one of the strongest and well run chapters in the country. Yes, I am bragging a little because I am so proud of our accomplishments. They didn’t come overnight. We are building on the work done by others before us and we are the springboard to those who will take the mantle of leadership next year. That’s how we will continue to shine.
In the meantime, your Board of Directors is taking the month of July off. Our July’s monthly speaker canceled and the Board needed a well-deserved break. We decided it was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the value of self-care that we so often encourage in our clients.

And we will keep the virtual Core Competency call so you can earn one CCEU in Core Competency. Join us on July 19 at 6:00 pm to unpack the competency of Active Listening. The call will be facilitated by Michele Tevis, PCC. These calls have been really well received. Participants enjoy the free-flowing discussion and sharing their coaching experiences.
