Lisa Laughter, our 2024 Chapter President

Dear ICF Sacramento Charter Chapter Members,

I hope this message finds you well. As we embark on a new year, I am thrilled to serve as the President of this fantastic chapter.
Your dedication to coaching and professional growth is inspiring, and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

I want to emphasize the crucial role our community of coaches plays in shaping the future of our chapter. Your involvement, insights, and commitment are the driving forces behind our success.
Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive environment for everyone in our community.

There was no programming in January as we are transitioning as a board allowing us to regroup, strategize, and ensure that we bring you the best possible content in the coming months.

However, I have exciting news to share!

In February, we'll be rolling out a diverse range of programs designed to enhance your coaching journey.
Be on the lookout for more information soon, as we aim to deliver engaging and enriching experiences for all our members.

This year promises to be filled with numerous activities, events, and opportunities for growth. I encourage each of you to actively participate and make the most of your membership.

Additionally, I extend an invitation to consider volunteering.
Your unique skills and perspectives are invaluable, and we would be delighted to have you contribute to the success of our chapter.

Happening in February!

This Friday, our Board is meeting in person for the first time and will plan for the whole year. Regular Board meetings happen every 4th Monday of each month.

The Book Club is discussing The Sum of Us (you can catch up and join any time).

We’ll kick it off with our Chapter meeting on the 13th.

About 45 coaches have signed up for the Ignite program and will soon attend their first Supervision & Best Practices session.

You are invited to join Maryam Ghadiri on Friday Feb. 16th from 10 to 11 am.

Within the Diversity Committee, we’ll talk about actions we could take at the Chapter to bring the lens of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) forward as well as any other things that could help us walk towards more justice.

The Annual Conference is back!

Our Annual Conference will happen during International Coaching Week on Friday, May 17th, 2024 in Sacramento from 9 am to 4 pm.

In this video, Amy Shuman talks about the content, the key dates and the early bird registration (only 60 seats available!)

She also nudges you to apply to present an interactive breakout of 60 or 90 min.

Application deadline is February 15th.
