Internal Coaching with Dr. Janet Lockhart-Jones

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Lockhart-Jones has worked as an internal consultant, external consultant, internal coach and external coach. With the majority of her work now centered on internal coaching and OD and Leadership Consulting, using the right skills in the right role with the right client is essential. Janet's clientele consist of such companies as Kaiser Permanente, Google, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Visa, American Express, Boeing and Salesforce.com.

Please join us as Dr. Lockhart-Jones shares her wisdom, experience and insight on:
  • The differences between internal and external coaching
  • How to handle confidentiality when working as an internal coach - what if the person's manager wants to know what was discussed?
  • How to build trust as an internal coach when you and the client are both employees


Subcontracting with Tina R. Shaw, PCC 

Tina Shaw, PCC began her coaching practice in 2013, kickstarting her business through subcontracting so she could focus on delivering coaching and other services, building her skills, and leaving the business development to others who were more practiced in it. Tina has amassed over 500 coaching hours primarily through her subcontracting work, earning her PCC in 2017.

In addition to answering questions you may have for her, Tina plans to share:
  • The biggest benefits of subcontracting
  • The challenges and limitations of subcontracting, and
  • How to get started as a subcontractor


Client Retention with Coleen Chandler, PCC

Coleen Chandler, PCC, CPCC, an established creativity and business coach, started her coaching career in 2003 before Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn existed. She grew her business the old fashioned way - one client at a time, one referral at a time. Coleen understood rapidly that retaining clients was just as valuable as getting new ones. She spent the next few years developing this side of her practice. Coleen's clients stay active with her an average of two years, and most are on her "forever" plan.

She will share some of her best tips to help you retain your clients, including:
  • How to keep clients in active status for years without creating dependence
  • At what point in the coaching relationship to start the retention process
  • 3 surefire ways to increase retention beyond the obvious

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours prior to the event; however, refunds will be in the form of credit for a future event. Non-members who register for a future event and want to use a credit from a prior event MUST search and select their record from the non-member database after clicking the Register button. After clicking Register for an event, you will be taken to a screen to input your info, you will see a link titled "Have you previously registered for an event or are you on our mailing list? Click here to search." Enter your email and first name, then Search. When your record is returned, your credit should be applied if you cancelled your registration at least 24 hours prior to the event.
